The Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) will host its 39th Annual General Assembly on Monday, June 25, 2012 (6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) at the Classic Club, located off of the I-10 Freeway and Cook Street exit just outside of Palm Desert. This year's General Assembly will feature Greg Burton, The Desert Sun's new Executive Editor. The CVAG annual event brings together representatives from the academic, policy, business, public health and government sectors to review CVAG's accomplishments for fiscal year 2011-12. Its membership includes CVAG's ten (10) cities, Riverside County and two Tribal nations. For more information, please contact Joanna at CVAG at (760) 346-1127.
