Public Notice is hereby given that the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) RHNA Appeals Board will conduct public hearings to hear appeals to the Draft RHNA Allocation Plan approved by SCAG's Regional Council on February 2, 2012 at the dates, times, and location identified above. Any jurisdiction that has filed an appeal should refer to the schedule below for the specific date and time period when its appeal will be heard. These public hearings are being held as part of SCAG's effort to prepare a Final RHNA Plan for the SCAG region in accordance with state law.

These public hearings are being held pursuant to Government Code Section 65584.05(d) and will provide an opportunity for jurisdictions that filed appeals to the Draft RHNA Allocation Plan to provide testimony before the RHNA Appeals Board as part of the Board's determination on appeals. In addition, the public hearings are part of SCAG's efforts relating to the Fifth Cycle of the RHNA process and preparing a Final RHNA Plan as required by the State in order for local jurisdictions to prepare updated General Plan Housing Elements.
