The Southern California Association of Governments, in collaboration with Caltrans, will be hosting a Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) workshop on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

The Highway Performance Monitoring System program plays an important role in providing the FHWA with consistent state-specific data used to analyze the state of the nation's highway system and to create federal-aid apportionment formulas.

The workshop is intended to:

  • Provide an overview of the HPMS program and its significance for local jurisdictions
  • Address data collection for reporting this year
  • Address upcoming changes in the HPMS program
