SCAG's Community, Economic and Human Development Committee (CEHD) invites you to review the draft Regional Comprehensive Plan (RCP) and participate in a dialogue on the future of the region. The Committee, along with the Regional Comprehensive Plan Task Force, is hosting at least 4 public workshops prior to developing a final RCP.
This second workshop will be held on April 22, 2008 at the Huntington Beach Public Library from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This workshop will focus on the following RCP chapters: land use, open space, and transportation. The workshop will feature noted planner and dynamic speaker Michael Freedman, who will share his recent insights on restructuring commercial strip corridors. In addition, John Reekstin, the Senior Vice President of the Olson Company will discuss the perspective of Orange County's top urban developer.
