Draft 2008 RTP Regional Transportation Plan: Making the Connections

On Thursday, December 6, 2007, SCAG's Transportation and Communications Committee (TCC) authorized the release of the Draft 2008 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for public review and comments.  The public is invited to submit comments on the Draft 2008 RTP. The public comment period for the plan is scheduled to close on February 18, 2008. However, since this day is a federal holiday and SCAG's offices will be closed, comments will be accepted through the close of business on February 19, 2008.

   The conformity analysis is based on the Draft RTP. The emission budgets in the analysis are those that have been locally and state approved, but have not yet been approved by U.S. EPA. It should be noted that a formal conformity finding cannot be adopted until U.S EPA has issued an adequacy finding on the emission budgets.
