Transportation Finance Task Force

The role of the Long Range Transportation Finance Task Force is to examine how best to provide the financial resources needed for the transportation investments identified in SCAG's Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).

This task force consists of elected officials, various state agency staff members, county transportation commission staff members, IVAG, and other interested stakeholders.

Participation by these individuals is crucial in creating an awareness of the infrastructure needs of the region, the potential benefits from investments, and the appropriate funding strategies for program implementation.

Members of the task force also seek to bring together the necessary resources, in order to implement much needed transportation programs over the next 30 years.
