Water Policy Task Force

The Mission of the Water Policy Task Force is to advise the Energy and Environment Committee and the Regional Council on water supply and water quality issues affecting the long-term sustainability of communities and industry within the watersheds of the SCAG region. Among its duties, the Task Force provides SCAG committees with water quality assessment information for regionally-significant transportation projects planned for future implementation. The Task Force is composed of officials (both elected and appointed) who participate actively in local government and in organizations concerned with water policy, planning and management. The Task Force meets five times during the year.
