SCAG welcomes your interest, involvement and participation in the activities and programs aimed at resolving the issues facing the six-county Southern California region. The public plays a key role in every aspect of SCAG's regional planning efforts. SCAG provides information, timely public notice and access to key decisions to support early and continuing public involvement in developing its regional plans.

Public Participation Plan

The Public Participation Plan is a document that guides SCAG's public involvement process by outlining objectives, goals and intended outcomes.

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 / Accessibility Rights

SCAG seeks to ensure that no person is excluded from participating in any of the agency's programs or public meetings. In addition to complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, SCAG also translates key materials and provides translator services to ensure that the region's diverse populations are involved in the planning process.

Contact Your Regional Council Member

If you have a specific issue or concern, you may want to contact a member of SCAG's governing board. Local elected officials throughout Southern California serve on SCAG's Regional Council and represent one or more communities within the region.
