Transit

The Transit section is responsible for working with the region's transportation agencies and transit operators to develop goals, objectives, plans and policies to provide effective and sustainable transit options for the region.

Another component of the transit section is its partnership with the Transit Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). The Transit TAC, made up of representatives from the Region's transit operators, provides a forum for coordination of input in the development of the Regional Transportation Plan and the Regional Transportation Improvement Program. Past discussion topics have included funding programs, intelligent transportation systems, transit-oriented development, and performance measures.

The chair of the Transit Technical Advisory Committee is Stephen Fox of Metro. Agendas, minutes and presentations of previous Transit TAC meetings are posted below.
